USANA Vitamins Work from Home Opportunities

USANA touts the fact that they've been voted the #1 network marketing company for seven straight years quite proudly - so I figured, their offering is certainly worth evaluating. Then, I read the following (from their website):

"The average Associate made $658.56 in 2006, the Average commission qualified associate made $1578.59 in 2006" The earnings portrayed in this literature are not necessarily representative of the income, if any, that a USANA Associate can or will earn through his or her participation in the USANA Compensation Plan. These figures should not be considered as guarantees or projections of your actual earnings or profits. Any representation or guarantee of earnings would be misleading. Success with USANA results only from successful sales efforts, which require hard work, diligence and leadership. Your success will depend on how effectively you exercise these qualities"

Average earnings of less than $1000... not exciting. In fairness, I believe that a lot of people begin the program and don't follow through, which pulls down the average earnings, but it's still not encouraging.

The positives are that USANA is a large company that probably won't go belly-up on you. Still, I think there are much better options available for starting an online business.
